Music from the Song Film: Omoiyari is the original soundtrack for the moving documentary about Kaoru’s (Kishi Bashi) journey to confront the harsh realities of the Japanese-American internment after Pearl Harbor, and to reckon with his own identity. The album presents new versions of tracks from the Kishi Bashi catalog, as well as unreleased songs and previously unheard demos.
